Welcome to the Platán Siófok accommodation! The following information is intended to provide you with comprehensive information about the rules, options and information regarding your stay here.
1. CONTACT – 24/7 AVAILABILITY
Assistance is available to all guests at any time of day or night.
2. INTERNET ACCESS
Free wireless internet is available in guest rooms and common areas.
Please note that the service provider has not yet installed the most modern network system in this part of Petőfi Promenade, so the internet connection may occasionally slow down or be interrupted. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
3. LOCATION AND SURROUNDINGS
Platán Siófok is located on one of the busiest and most well-known promenades in Siófok – Petőfi Promenade.
During the summer season, this area is the center of the city’s vibrant nightlife, with many restaurants, clubs, and event venues nearby.
As a result, the surroundings may be noisy, especially in the evenings and at night. Please only book if you are comfortable with this lively atmosphere, as noise-related complaints cannot be grounds for refunds.
4. ROOM AMENITIES AND COMFORT SERVICES
Our rooms offer basic comfort, but please note a few important differences from standard hotel offerings:

Television: There are no TVs in the rooms, as we encourage our guests to explore the area and enjoy a break from technology.

Heating & Cooling: There is no central heating; however, modern air conditioning units with heating functions ensure a comfortable temperature year-round.

Entertainment: The lobby offers board and card games, and outdoor garden games such as badminton, bocce ball, and ring toss are available – perfect for families and groups of friends.

Dining: We do not operate a restaurant or guest kitchen. Upon request, we can provide plates, glasses, and cutlery, and we can also supply a kettle and coffee in your room.
5. CLEANING, LINEN, AND ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Towel change: Available upon request.

Cleaning: For longer stays, cleaning is available upon request. Please inform staff in advance.

Other requests: We are happy to help at the reception (e.g., pillow exchange, extra blankets).
6. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT, PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICIES

Check-out: Until 11:00
Early check-in and late check-out are possible upon request, subject to availability. Late check-out may incur additional charges.
Payment:

Full prepayment, including the tourist tax, is required at check-in.

Accepted payment methods: cash, bank card, credit card.

Valid photo ID is required at check-in.
Cancellation:
Cancellations follow the policy agreed upon during the booking process (e.g., as per Booking.com terms).
No refunds are granted for cancellations citing noise complaints.
7. PARKING & ACCESS
Our property is located directly on the main street of Petőfi Promenade, behind the arcade hall. The entrance is through our private, enclosed garden.

Parking: One free parking space is provided per room reservation. Additional vehicles incur a fee of €8/day.

Parking hours: Our private parking is accessible between 10:00 and 20:00. After 20:00, vehicle entry to Petőfi Promenade is not permitted, so guests arriving later must park nearby and move their car the next morning.

Access by car: Approach Petőfi Promenade from Mártírok Road, heading from the harbor. Entry is permitted between 10:00 and 20:00 after passing the “PLÁZS and KORZÓ” sign.
8. VISITORS, CAPACITY, AND GUEST RULES

Only guests listed in the booking are allowed in the rooms.

All guests must check in with a valid photo ID upon arrival.

Exceeding the room capacity is strictly prohibited for safety and legal reasons and may result in immediate eviction without refund.
9. GUEST RESPONSIBILITY & DAMAGE

The main booking guest is fully responsible for all individuals staying in the room.

All guests must protect the condition of rooms and common areas.

Any damage, vandalism, or significant mess will be charged to the guest’s account.

Please report any maintenance issues to the reception immediately.
10. BEHAVIOR RULES

Please respect the peace of fellow guests, especially during evening and nighttime hours.

Disruptive behavior that disturbs other guests is not tolerated, and we reserve the right to remove guests violating these rules without refund.
11. ACCIDENTS & LIABILITY

Please report any accidents, injuries, or hazards to staff immediately.

Platán Siófok is not responsible for incidents resulting from guests’ negligence or rule violations.
12. SMOKING POLICY
Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the entire property, including guest rooms and all indoor common areas.
Violation of this rule will result in a €100 cleaning fee.
13. DINING OPTIONS NEARBY
While we do not provide meals, our central location offers easy access to many nearby restaurants, cafés, and bars. Our staff are happy to provide recommendations.
